Christmas Light Installation in Toronto, Brampton & the GTA

Northline designs, installs, maintains, removes and stores holiday lighting for homes across Toronto, Brampton and the GTA — rooflines, peaks, columns, railings, walkways, trees and shrubs.

You never climb a ladder in December. We handle the layout, the clips, the timer and the power, then come back in the new year to take everything down and store it for next season.

What our holiday lighting service includes

  • A design consultation and measured layout for your roofline and features
  • Commercial-grade LED strings cut to fit your home exactly
  • Non-damaging clips on shingles and eaves — no staples, no nails, no drilling
  • Timers and power sorted so the display comes on and off by itself
  • In-season maintenance if a run goes out after a storm
  • Takedown in the new year, plus labelled off-season storage

Book early — installs run October through December

We start installing in October and the best weekend slots in Toronto and Brampton are usually taken by mid-November. Booking early gets you the date you want and lets us install before the cold and ice arrive, which is safer and faster. Lights stay dark until you want them on.

Installed to last a GTA winter

Ontario wind, ice and freeze-thaw cycles pull down displays that were clipped on casually. We use the right clip for each surface, secure runs against wind lift, keep connections off the ground and out of standing water, and load circuits within safe limits. If a section does fail mid-season, call us and we will come out and fix it.

Takedown and storage

In January we remove everything, coil and label each run by section, and store it off-season so nothing ends up tangled in your garage. Next year the same layout goes back up faster because the strings are already cut to your home.

Perfect pairing with a fall clean

Most customers book their fall eavestrough cleaning and their light install as one visit — the eaves are clear before the lights go up, and we only take up one afternoon of your time. Ask for both on the quote form.

Christmas Light Installation FAQs

Do you provide the lights or do I use my own?

We supply commercial-grade LED strings cut to fit your home, which hold up far better than retail sets. If you have your own lights you love, tell us and we will let you know whether they are safe to install.

Will the clips damage my roof or eavestroughs?

No. We use purpose-made clips that hook onto shingles and gutter lips. We never staple, nail or drill into your roof, fascia or siding.

What happens if a section stops working in December?

Call us and we will come out and repair it during the season. Storm damage and failed runs are part of the service, not an extra visit you have to argue about.

Do you take the lights down after the holidays?

Yes. Takedown is included, and we remove the display in January and store it labelled and coiled for next season so your garage stays clear.

When should I book Christmas light installation in the GTA?

As early as September or October. Prime November weekends fill first, and installing before the ice arrives is safer and quicker for everyone.

How much does Christmas light installation cost?

It depends on the size of your roofline, the number of storeys and how many features you want lit. Estimates are free and confirmed in writing before we begin.
