Spring: clearing the winter residue
Winter leaves a specific film on GTA glass — road salt spray, sand, furnace exhaust and the grit that lands on windows during freeze-thaw cycles. That film bonds to the glass and dulls it in a way that a rainy day never rinses off.
Waiting until after the maple pollen and tree blossoms finish in early May means the cleaning lasts noticeably longer. Cleaning in late March often means doing it again in June.
Fall: the one most homeowners skip
